The Way I See It!

The following is an article excerpt today from Yahoo news: ...Georgia is one of the closest US allies in Eastern Europe. Yet this warm relationship did not stop the Kremlin from unleashing a ferocious military response after Georgian troops entered the separatist province of South Ossetia ...."Russia has invaded a sovereign neighboring state and threatens a democratic government elected by its people. Such an action is unacceptable in the 21st century," said Mr. Bush in a statement televised shortly after his return to the US from the Beijing Olympics.... Once again Bush is a liar and an idiot. Here is the real plain truth. ....South Ossetia broke from Georgia in the early 1990s and has since been a constant source of friction between Georgia and Russia. The Georgian government accuses Moscow of wanting to take over South Ossetia.... Actually most of South Ossetia wants to be Russia ...

Well for those who have not heard I was a supporter of John Edwards for president, so after the news of his extramarital affair I can only say I was wrong. I am only glad his bid to be president ended in failure. Not because he would have made a bad president but because he lied about the affair and had that affair while his wife was battling cancer. The very battle he used as a basis for his so called strength and purpose. I guess this may well be proof everyone is capable of everything.
