 I’m back, stay tuned. I am planning to correct many shortcomings and ideas and thoughts that simply haven’t aged well. I am planning a book and a podcast in the very near future.

This story took me several weeks to finish. As you notice the date I started is a month ago. I am posting this on July, 22 2009. October 6, 2002 It is a day I will remember for the rest of my life. I was working the 10pm to 6 am shift at the Bay County Jail Annex in Panama City Florida. During that time the facility was under the direction of a private company called, Corrections Corporation of America (C.C.A.). I was approaching my two year anniversary with the company, having worked my entire time in corrections at the Bay County jail and jail annex locations. It was a shift like many others. That night I was scheduled to be the "transportation" officer, which meant I would be responsible for transporting inmates to and from the annex for whatever reasons there might be. Finally.

It seemed as if this day would never come. For what feels like an eternity I have looked forward to this day. Not "forward" as in just looking ahead in time but more in tune with looking forward to a new vision, a new date with destiny. Now I sit waiting for the somewhat official results to pour in affirming what I have known for almost a year and a half...A great man will now lead us with his intelligence and compassion. He will lead us with his patience and his wisdom. Understanding that never again will we have this chance, the chance to either save or loose the greatest gift ever known to man. Wake up Stupid Asses !!!

Well it seems as if the "hope" I tried to maintain for the future of our nation and how it will relate to the rest of the world is fading fast. Everyone I meet and speak to these days has either given up, or has no clue about what is happening around them in our country. Gone are the days when citizens questioned their leaders, instead we simply accept as fact whatever we are told on CNN or to whatever outlet we may subscribe. Over the last twenty years or so we have become a nation all about "ME" or "I", what can I get or what about ME. What happened to humanity? We will step over a homeless man to get to a Starbucks. Contrary to popular thought, (Which is how people make themselves feel better for being greedy heartless assholes) all homeless are NOT there because they WANT to be...if you think that you are a fucking idiot.
